A figure stands on a castle battlement, holding a globe and gazing out over the sea. One wand is held; another is fixed to the wall. He has achieved something already — now he contemplates what comes next. The world is literally in his hand.

Reversed, the figure pulls back from the view. There is fear of expansion, poor planning, or a reluctance to take the bold step the situation requires.

Upright

Think big. Plan boldly. The foundation is there — now decide on the direction and commit to it.

Reversed

Make the plan even if you're uncertain. The view from the battlement is already earned.

The twos in tarot represent the first encounter with duality — the original creative spark meeting the reality of choice and direction.

Vision without action remains a daydream. The globe must eventually leave the hand.
